Are you still hungry?
it's a strategy ...
I’ve got a quick follow-up from the wonderful world of Eat Like a Bear: We had a very nice live video yesterday (Wednesday) and I do hope to have them weekly at 9 am Pacific, noon Eastern on the YouTube channel. Here is the replay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgmF9iUcxRs
It was a chance to ask me anything and we had a discussion about navigating adding more protein to your meals if you are seeking to do so.
There were some great ideas on foods and branded bars and powders, but with a key take-away: Make sure whatever you are adding helps you feel more full.
If a food keeps you eating, I recommend you eat far less of that food, not more.

Salad Kit Spotlight
I asked on Tuesday, but this survey was buried deep in the email: Do you want to learn more about specific salad kits in this email?
Salad kits are the bagged salads that come with dressing and usually some sort of crunchy topping like nuts or bacon bits.
I am such a “homemade salad” person and have a whole book on whipping up your own salad or skillet dish in minutes. However, a year ago, I did eat a salad kit (or two) every day and I lost an impressive 17 pounds in 30 days from a fairly low starting weight. On some of those days, I ate the salad kits just as they came, right out of the bag. In other days, I adapted the kits a bit. I showed each meal on TikTok but I do have people ask for more detail on each.
I do think homemade is ideal, but as I sit here recovering from a brain injury, I really appreciate such conveniences as salad kits.
This makes me wonder: Do you eat salad kits or want to? Would you be interested in me describing to you here in this newsletter what I would do with a specific salad kit?

I hope to see you this coming Wednesday for another live video. (9am Pacific, noon Eastern on YouTube.)
Weekly live videos, this email newsletter, and our Deep Den member area will be the main places to find me as I recover from the head injury I suffered in July. I am doing okay, but going about everything very slowly these days.
Yesterday Shelly tuned in to the live video from a walk. We should all be out on a walk right now. 🙂
Thank you for being such a great part of our community. I appreciate you.
