So obvious in weight loss
calling it out ...
Boy, weight loss is the most complicated simple thing we may ever do.
We’ve been discussing strategies to add more protein to meals: Do you just add chicken? How about a protein smoothie or protein bar?
What would you add? Hit reply and tell me. (Seriously! hit reply)
Any of these are fine options, but are they YOUR best options?
It’s an interesting question.
It definitely helps to have a community of like-minded people and to bat the question back and forth. It’s what we did in the early days of Eat Like a Bear that led to the Ridiculously Big Salad and Skillets books. People took those recipes and ran with them, adding or subtracting ingredients and strategies along the way.

For my part this week, I did a little experiment adding a protein smoothie these last few days. It was delicious, but I think it makes my eating for the day harder not easier. I always shoot for “easier.” (It’s why the Ridiculously Big meal frameworks are so easy.)
