the aftermath ;)

It’s the Thanksgiving aftermath here in America and that photo up there is my damage. It’s definitely not all fat (I lost 4 of those pounds in the last 24 hours), but it sure could be if I let it all go through 2025.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to have to lose it all again and so I try to keep my holidays reasonable.

Exiting the Eating

Today is a good time to draw a bright line on all the eating and ratchet things back.

In these "days after," it’s a really good time to give away all of that extra stuff that might still be sitting around.

Actively draw the line on overeating.

Get out and go for very long walks, thinking about all of the awesomeness of the world that does not involve food. We had a community discussion on this a couple of holidays back:

It’s a core principle in the holiday eating book, Feast Like a Bear, which all email subscribers (like you) have access to right here: https://eatlikeabear.com/crush-2025/

I do find that, for me, a key success factor through all of these holiday seasons since I began my weight loss in 2017, is putting little boundaries on each of these decisions. Keeping things on the stricter side reduced decision fatigue and those constant (and exhausting) internal negotiations to stop eating the Christmas cookies.

Read through the “Red Dot World” section of the holiday ebook to get a better sense: (see email)

And Put On The Broth

Simmer your leftover turkey bones in some water. Rock and roll!

I wish you the very best in this holiday season.

Go be awesome!!!

P.S., Life Simplified: Our sponsor this week has a quality all-in-one supplement that’s for those of us looking for a one-stop shop in daily support (tired of filling up a pill box with supplements and all that). It’s got some holiday deals for us.

The daily health habit you’ll actually stick with…

This time of year, it’s SO hard to stay in control of your health.

Holiday travel (and meals!), big family gatherings, dark and cold days, it’s easy to skip that workout, sleep in later than you should, or have just one more cookie.

That’s why you need a daily health habit that’s easy to stick with.

Meet AG1: With just one quick scoop every morning, you’ll get over 75 ingredients that help support your immune health, gut health, energy, and close nutrient gaps in your diet.

Right now is the best time to get started - with every new subscription, they are giving away $126 in free gifts for the holidays.

Give AG1 a try today and take control of your health this holiday season.
